Sometimes I like to look at sadness and it’s older sibling grief as a welcome sign that I truly love something. This was a beautiful piece.

The last part about giving space to sadness reminded me of the movie “inside out” that we watched last night in preparation to watch the sequel.

Change, sadness and feeling unsettled being about big emotions. It takes courage to lean into it and make space for it.

Thanks for talking about it and bringing light to an important topic. Xx

Thanks Mika, few people have mentioned about the movie “inside out” after reading some of my posts. I think, I should watch it too :)

And completely agree on the courage part to take space to those emotions.💚

This was such a tender and heartfelt piece, Harneek. It's beautiful how you acknowledge and honor your emotions. Letting go of things tied to special memories is never easy, but your words reflect gentle acceptance.

Feelings, be it sadness or panic, are like symptoms. No need to block them, and they'll last as long as they will. They will usually go away when the underlying issue is solved. Normally, nothing is ever as good or bad as it feels. It's good to just let feelings be, neither exaggerating nor underrating them.
